Wilson Bickford Teacher Training Seminar

wb-teacher-seminars.jpg

This program provides “hands-on” training with me personally and will focus on how to become a “painting teacher." While I know that many other organizations now regularly conduct their certifications on-line, I prefer to host mine “old school,” as I feel that personal interaction for this is absolutely imperative.

“Registrations must be “PAID IN FULL.”

We need a minimum of 12 attendees to carry through with this seminar.

In the event of low enrollment and cancellation of this event, your money will be refunded.

This program is designed for artists who wish to teach and conduct their own painting classes. “Painting Partners” can also attend the WBTT seminar to upgrade to the next level and receive the larger discount. Their previously paid $100 fee will be applied to the cost of the WBTT Seminar.

It will not solely be a “how to” painting course, although we will be doing plenty of painting during our time together.

You will need to be capable of completing some basic oil landscape paintings within a reasonable time-frame ( For example; a sunset scene, a waterfall, a snow scene, perhaps a floral? – These are only suggestions, not specific requirements, but you will need to be able to execute  3 – 4 paintings of your own choice without  my instruction. These paintings can be ones copied from any of my YouTube tutorials, book, packets and/or DVD’s . Or, they can be something of your own design and composition. )

Obviously, as a prospective instructor you will need to be able to complete paintings on your own before you can teach them to others.
You will need to know how to paint the basics already.  The seminar is to develop your abilities as a “teacher.”

As a WBTT, your personality, professionalism and conduct are as ( or more ) important than your painting skills. ( It takes somewhat of a “people person”. If you don’t like meeting new people and working with the public, this probably isn’t for you. )

You don’t need to be the world’s best artist, but we are looking for enthusiastic, encouraging teachers who can share their talents with others!

The WBTT program is different from my WBPP ( Painting Partner) arrangement . That option is available to those individuals who are already “certified” and holding classes, but wish to receive a discount on my WB Products and use my project designs in their own classes.

The WBTT Program is for those who wish to start conducting their own classes. WBTT members will receive a larger product discount than WBPP members.

I can tell you that there is a huge demand for painting instruction and there is no sign of it slowing down. In this fast-paced, hectic world EVERYONE needs a creative outlet and for a great many of us painting fills that need. You will literally change people’s lives and form life-long friendships using art as a common passion. It’s a win-win for both teacher and student.

And it is a great source of extra income for doing something you love.

Painting and teaching art has certainly enriched my life immeasurably and I’m blessed and pleased to be able to start you on that same path.

The WBTT Seminar will be $950 for the course. That will include all of the training and the painting supplies used during the week. We acquire a $99 per night rate at a the hotel. They have a $5 breakfast menu. There are many nearby eateries for lunch and dinner, as well as the hotel restaurant. Glenda and I are picking up the tab for the Friday night dinner celebration. If you fly into Syracuse, NY it's less than an hour's drive straight up Interstate 81 to the hotel. We’ve tried to make it as convenient as possible.

The seminar will be held at The Ramada Inn, 21000 NYS Route 3, Watertown, NY, 13601 ( it is located immediately off  Exit 45 from US Interstate 81 ) Airports in Watertown, Syracuse and Ogdensburg, NY are the closest to our location.
